Comparison of stock 360 cc/min and Denso 550 cc/min injectors
for the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 and Dodge Stealth TT

The extra length in the pintle area inserts the Denso 550 injector further into the intake port than the stock injector (which I have heard is also made by Denso). Also note that the openings near the pintles are shaped differently, resulting in different spray patterns. The part number on these Denso 550 (top feed, low-resistance) injectors is 195500-1370. The part number for Denso 720 cc/min injectors is 195500-0830. The stock fuel injectors for the 1991-1996 Dodge Stealth R/T Twin Turbo and 1991-1999 Mitsuibishi 3000GT VR-4 are made by Nikki and are model number INP-014, which is stamped on the injector opposite to the Mitsubishi part identifier BDL360. WARNING:
http://www.injectorservices.com/injectflow.htm notes that part number 195500-1370 is used by Denso for both of their low- and high-resistance 550 cc/min injectors. Be sure to measure injector resistance before installation.

Below is some information sent to me by Rod Hiorns (Thanks, Rod!).
    Mazda RX7 Denso 460 injectors are labelled 195500-1350 (both low and high resistance models).
    Mazda RX7 tan top Denso 550 injectors are low resistance with a center notch in the electrical connector.
    Mazda RX7 purple top 550 injectors are high resistance with an offset notch on the electrical connector.
    Both of these 550 injectors are marked 195500-1370.

I guess the bottom line is be sure of what injector you are installing in your engine!
